Choi Juyoung was born in 1997 in Busan, South Korea and is currently studying composition at College of Music Seoul National Music. In 2017 he participated in 45th Pan Music Festival, where his work ‘Gradual for 2 sanjo gayageums and a janggu’ has been performed. In march 2021, his work for concert band ‘Hope’ was performed by Korean Wind Orchestra. He served 1 year and 9 months in Ministry of National Defense Military Band as a soldier, where he arranged various military songs, pops, folk songs into ensembles such as Concert band, Orchestra and Piano Quintet for military events.
