Personal History
Born in Tokyo . Graduated from Tokyo National University of Music and Fine Arts .
In 1979, Assistant, Composition Department, Tokyo National University of Music and Fine Arts.
1981-86, Studied composition at the Robert Schumann National Academy in Düsseldorf. Studied under Yoshio HASEGAWA, Hiroaki MINAMI, Akira KITAMURA, Sessyu KAI, Kei KONDO and Günther Becker.
Awarded the Grand-Prix at the 30 th Art Festival Tokushima.
Awarded 3rd prize at the 7th Tokyo International Chamber Music Composition Competition.
Selected at the 14th Sogakudo Composition Competition.
Her works are played at music festivals across Europe.
“Takashi & Michiko Matsuoka Exhibition” performed 9 times in Tokyo ,Tokushima and Hamburg.
Member of the Japan Federation of Composers, Japan Society for Contemporary.
